Workshop - Triveni Kala Sangam

The students of Class V and VI were invited by the Kiran Nadar Foundation to visit the Triveni Kala Sangam on Oct 18, 2018, to participate in a workshop on Relief Art Work with White Clay as a medium.
Triveni Kala Sangam is an autonomous organization and an important cultural and arts complex and education center consisting of four Art Galleries, a Chamber theatre, outdoor theatre and open air sculpture gallery. It organizes various arts, music and dance classes.
The coordinators of Kiran Nadar Foundation and Triveni Kala Sangam briefed the students on the workshop and the technique used to create the Relief Art work with White Clay. They were also briefed on the Art Exhibits in the complex.
It was an excellent opportunity for the students to practice their artistic and imaginative skills. They also had a unique opportunity of seeing various works of art, including paintings of reputed artists and sculptures.
This visit and workshop at the Triveni Kala Sangam has definitely aroused great interest in the students and enhanced their appreciation of various art forms and also improved their artistic skills.
In addition to the above the students also witnessed a Chhau Dance Class which was being conducted separately at the time of the visit.
